Flags are usually made to show us a group or national identity, such as the Ranger Scouts flag or the Union flag of Britain.

To help you design your own personal identity flag answer the questions below (discuss the questions in pairs first):

Question 1: Where were you born?

Question 2: What groups do you belong to?

Question 3: How would you describe yourself to others in four words?

Question 4: How do other people describe you?

Question 5: What are your beliefs?

Question 6: What do you like doing?

Question 7: What are you good at?

Question 8: What music do you like?

Question 9: What languages do you speak?

Question 10: What is your family like?

Question 11: What else is important to you?

Think of a symbol for each of your answers and draw these onto a plan of your identity flag.
